Dr. Ho Chen's Retirement Party
A party was held at the museum for the retirement of one of Pembertons most liked doctors, Anthony Ho Chen. The Doctor has had a practice in Pemberton for over twenty years and massive crowd from around the valley came out to see the good Doctor off. To start off the festivities Mrs. Ho Chen performed with her band Chicks With Picks, serenading the crowd with some golden oldies. Then it was time to say some goodbyes and farewells. Dr. Ho Chen has impacted many people; his friends, colleages, patients, and community leaders came out to give heart felt speeches and praise. From the people of Mount Currie Dr. Ho Chen was gifted an eagle feather and honoured with songs and dances. All together the party was great and we would like to wish Dr. Ho Chen a happy and healthy retirement.

We are located in the downtown area of Pemberton at 7455 Prospect St.
Hours of Operation
The Pemberton Museum is currently CLOSED for the winter and will reopen to the public in the spring of 2025.
Meetings
The PDMAS Society meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Museum.
Our 2024 AGM will be held July 10 at 7pm.

Port Pemberton was founded as a stopping point on the historic Harrison-Lillooet gold rush trail over 160 years ago.
30,000 gold-rushers passed through this region from 1858 to 1865 and Port Pemberton was an important stopping point for travelers making their way to Lillooet and the gold-fields beyond!
